The Gibraltar Taekwondo Association held a successful Grading with 35 Juniors and 8 Seniors. They also enjoyed the visit of members of the Royal Navy/Royal Marines Association from the UK with two evenings spent on training techniques.

Their coach Al Curtin is a 4th Dan and Adam Coates, Events Organiser, a 2nd Dan respectively. In addition two female and one male had been medallists at recent UK, Netherlands, and Belgium championships.

Over 100 participated in a seminar at the Westside Comprehensive sports hall. Edward Garcia (4th Dan) and Al Curtin took Kyorugi (sparring) sessions and Ernest Garcia (4th Dan) took Poomsae (technique).

Presentations of a Gibraltar Crystal Rock were made to the Royal Navy/Royal Marines team and also to Alex Trinidad who won the Andalusian Individual League 68 Kg category in a sudden death final at Torrox.
