Back on Sunday 13th November 2011, Alexander Trinidad participated at the 92nd BTCB Dan Grading and Workshop, conducted by the BTCB Technical Committee in Mansfield, UK.

A total of approximately 200 members attended the Workshop and participated in the Dan Promotion Test.

The Workshop Instructors were the following:

Master Ian Lennox 7th Dan – BTCB Technical Director
Master Neil Guest 7th Dan – BTCB General Secretary
Master Adrian Tranter 6th Dan – BTCB Chairman
Master Mike McKenzie 7th Dan – Technical Committee Member

At the Workshop, all areas of our art are covered in depth – patterns, basics, self-defence, breaking and WTF sparring. These sessions are well attended because participants appreciate the benefits and advances in their knowledge, which come from being taught by some of the best Taekwondo practitioners in the UK today. 

After the Workshop, Alex participated in the Dan Promotion Test and successfully achieved his 4th Dan thanks to his outstanding performance. 

Alex has been practicing Taekwondo since the young age of 7. This year has been very rewarding for Alex, as he won gold medal at the recent Southern Counties International Championships in the under 80 kgs category and has also achieved his promotion to 4th Dan. 

Masters Edward and Ernest Garcia together with all members from The Gibraltar Taekwondo Association would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Alex for such a successful year. Also special thanks to Master Neil Guest for his support during the hard training sessions.
