On Monday 17th December 2007 Ernest Garcia, Gareth Gonzalez and Alex Trinidad were invited to the Gibraltar Sports & Leisure Authority's Sporting Awards to collect their Community Sports Leadership Award from the Hon. Edwin Reyes Minister for Heritage, Culture, Sport and Youth.
