The Royal Gibraltar Police organises this annual
event in aid to persuade young people that the taking of drugs and binge
drinking can be a thoroughly bad idea, which is more than likely to end
up in tears.
Project such as the Mini-Olympiad is at the very
heart of the work that they do to achieve this.
It provides them with the opportunity to pass on the message to
hundreds of young people. This
type of event encourages healthy exercise and competition whilst also
delivering a message against the use of drugs to Gibraltar’s young
sportspersons.
The Sports that participate at such event are as
follows:

Basketball
Chess
