Back on Friday 20th May 2011, the Gibraltar Taekwondo Association held it's 9th Junior Kyorugi (Sparring), 7th Junior Poomsae (Patterns), 4th Senior Kyorugi (Sparring) and 6th Senior Poomsae (Patterns) National Championships.

A total of 70 participants took part in the event, which consisted of Sparring and Patterns in different categories. The event was conducted by Masters Edward & Ernest Garcia 5th Dan, together with the assistance of all the Instructors and some senior members.

Both Masters Edward and Ernest Garcia are extremely delighted with the outstanding performance of their pupils at the Championships. They are very much looking forward to the forthcoming Strait Games and their attendance at International Championships during the forthcoming autumn. 

The Gibraltar Taekwondo Association would like to take this opportunity to congratulate it's members for their recent achievement. Also, a big thank you to all the instructors for their dedication and time spent preparing their members for the Championships and to the GSLA for their help with the facilities at the Stadium.
